Playground

Playground, also referred to as "Customs", is a special gamemode that allows players to create private matches and control various parts of the game.

Controls

Only the host may edit the Playground. They may:

• Set gamemode
• Set active mutators for ChaosBridge
• Set win condition (depending on gamemode)
• Set teams and spectators
• Enable/disable the anticheat
• Start/stop the current game
• Announce messages to everyone in the server
• Ban/unban/kick players

History

Playground was initially suggested by ToastBloxy in the Bridge Duel Discord on 2023 July 21.

Work began towards this feature on 2024 May 10.

On 2024 June 06, Playground entered public alpha testing as the Playground stand was published to PTB. Over the next week, more features were added.

June 11 saw the release into beta testing as most features were finished while small bugs still needed to be fixed.

Playground is still not part of the main game.
